Linda M. Anderson, Esquire will be discussing Continuing Care Retirement Communities during this meeting. CCRC’s – Another Way to Finance Long-Term Care. Retirement communities come in all shapes and sizes. But, for those that require a significant upfront investment, clients will look to you as legal counsel to ensure that they make a wise selection. How do you begin sorting out the numerous and various issues and making it accessible to clients who have already selected their unit, listed their house for sale but didn’t realize they weren’t actually buying an interest in real estate!? This workshop will cover some of the common issues to anticipate in contract review, financial statement analysis, and continuum of care. Ms. Anderson and Ms. Seace will speak with the participants about their individual experiences.Expand summary
