WILLS FOR HEROES PROGRAM
IS LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS

Wills for Heroes has several events in Bucks and Montgomery Counties and are in need of lawyers, notaries (who aren’t required to be lawyers) and witnesses to help at these events. Wills for Heroes is a pro bono program that provides free wills, living wills and financial powers of attorneys to first responders and their spouses/partners.  At the conclusion of their one-hour appointments, first responders and their spouses/partners are able to leave with notarized, legal documents.  You do not need to practice trust and estate law to volunteer.  A mini-course will be offered that morning to familiarize volunteers with all the information you’ll need to know.  In addition, several lawyers well-versed in estate planning will also be on hand to answer questions that may arise.  The events run from 9 am - 5 pm with training from 9 am – 11 am (for those who have not attended a Wills for Heroes event before) and appointments will begin at 11 am.  To volunteer your time at any of the events listed below, please email the County Coordinators:  Lisa A.
