Membership Categories

The Bar Association has three membership categories:

• Regular Member - Any member of the Bar of the Supreme Court of PA who maintains his/her principal office for the practice of law in Chester County, Pennsylvania
• Affiliate Member - Any attorney who does not maintain his/her principal office for the practice of law in Chester County
• Law School Member - Any second or third year law school student enrolled in an ABA accredited law school may be a Law School Member

Regular Membership

The Annual Dues listed below are for 1/1/12 - 12/31/12

Based on year of Admission to the PA Bar:
5 years +:   $280.00 ($230.00 dues + $50.00 assessment)
3-5 years:   $230.00 ($180.00 dues + $50.00 assessment)
0-2 years:   $195.00 ($145.00 dues + $50.00 assessment)

Affiliate Member

The Associate level annual dues listed are for 1/1/12 - 12/31/12:

$280.00 ($230.00 dues + $50.00 mandatory assessment)

Law School Member (Law Student)- NEW!

In December 2011, the CCBA passed a bylaw ammendment allowing second and third year law students to join our bar association. Annual due listed are for 1/1/12 - 12/31/12:

$75 ($25 dues + $50 mandatory assessment)

Chester County Bar Foundation Fellow

Optionally, while sending your dues to the Bar Association you can also join the Chester County Bar Foundation (CCBF). The CCBF is the charitable arm of the CCBA, and is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization.
